Black Hat USA 2026 - Vendor Announcements Roundup: AI Security, Post-Quantum, and Agent Defense

Black Hat USA 2026 is underway in Las Vegas, and several major vendors have used the conference to launch new products, SecurityWeek reported on August 3. The themes this year are familiar but sharpened: AI security, post-quantum cryptography, and defense against autonomous attacker agents.

AI Security Dominates

Most major vendors have introduced AI security products this year. CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Networks, and Microsoft have all announced products that use AI to detect threats, but the more interesting announcements are about defending against AI-driven attacks. Several vendors - including Horizon3, which raised $250 million this week - are showcasing AI red-team platforms that simulate autonomous attacker agents.

"Many companies are showcasing their products and services this week at the 2026 edition of the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas," SecurityWeek wrote.

Post-Quantum Goes Mainstream

Post-quantum cryptography is no longer a research topic. Several vendors - including Cloudflare, IBM, and AWS - have announced production-ready post-quantum TLS, and major browsers now support it by default. At Black Hat, the focus has shifted to migration: how to actually move production systems from classical to post-quantum cryptography without breaking things. Several vendors have launched migration tools, and a few have announced consulting practices.
