SpaceX completed its 92nd launch of 2026 on Sunday morning, sending 24 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, Spaceflight Now reported — the company's 71st dedicated Starlink mission of the year. The Falcon 9 lifted off at 9:35 a.m. Pacific time, and its first-stage booster completed its 16th flight, landing on a droneship in the Pacific about 8.5 minutes after liftoff.

A Constellation Past 10,900

The Starlink constellation now reportedly includes more than 10,900 active satellites, with SpaceX continuing its relentless launch cadence as the network expands global internet coverage. Sunday's flight was the latest in a West Coast launch surge that has seen Starlink missions go up at a near-weekly pace.

Starlink Returns to the Cape

On Monday, a Falcon 9 was set to launch Starlink 10-19 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, with a window opening at 10:49 a.m. ET and carrying 29 v2-mini satellites — the first Starlink mission from the Cape in nearly a month. According to NextSpaceflight, the flight would be the 676th Falcon 9 flight, SpaceX's 96th launch of 2026 and the 189th orbital launch attempt of 2026, with the booster targeting a landing on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic.
